Don't let the name scare you away. Garganta del Diablo (The Devil's Throat) leads to of the Brazils, if not the planets most spectacular sight. A lookout platform is situated right at the top over looking this majestic, powerful torrent of water - with vapors soaking those who visit with a mystical mist that can be seen several kilometers away.
There are organized tours from Cataratas Train Station, or you can walk and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Iguazu Falls
One of our favorite places to visit; Iguazu Falls is an UNESCO recognized site, as it is insanely magnificent and ecologically important.

Compromised of nearly 300 individual falls, voluminous flow of water has quite the tourist following so be sure to arrive early to enjoy and be misted with all of its splendor!
No matter how you go about visiting them, the Iguazu Falls should be high, high up on your bucket list.

It puts most every other waterfall to shame (I’m looking at you, Niagara Falls!). As the widest falls in the world, the sound and feel of them is otherworldly. It’s as if the falls are preparing to swallow you into the snow-white abyss at the bottom. Getting misted from the falls on a hot day is an amazing feeling too!
Salto Yucuma Waterfall
Spanning nearly 5,000 feet from side to side, the Salto Yucuma Waterfall is known for for its height, but for its incredible breadth! The sounds of this waterfall alone is enough to evoke a feeling of wonderment, to which you can float off and dream to. Just be sure not be careful during the rainy season as it can be quite treacherous.

Pe Da Serra Waterfall
An underrated beauty in our books, the Pe Da Serra is not too far from other Brazilian attractions such as the Mirante do Cristo and Salome J Rodregues Park, and is also a great option for those who are mindful of their budget as it is free for those to enjoy.
