It's time to break out the tequila and lime, because February 22 is National Margarita Day! This beloved cocktail has a storied history, with several theories on its origins. But regardless of where it came from, the Margarita has become an iconic drink enjoyed by millions around the world.

To celebrate National Margarita Day, we've got a delicious tropical Margarita recipe that's sure to transport you to the sun-soaked beaches of the Caribbean. And the best part? You can enjoy this refreshing drink with or without alcohol!

Blue Seascape Curaço 

A delicious Blue Margarita that's sure to add some fun and color to your Margarita Day celebration - best consumed by the poolside, wearing our Seascape Mesh Beach Cover Up Collection

Ingredients 

2 oz  Blue Curaçao
1 1/2 oz  Tequila
1 oz  Lime Juice 
1/2 oz  Triple Sec 
Ice
Salt for rimming
Lime wheel for garnish 
*Note: If you want to make a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the tequila and triple sec and replace them with club soda or lemon-lime soda. You'll still get the fun blue color and delicious flavor without the alcohol.

Instructions

1.   Rim the edge of the glass with salt (if desired) and fill the glass with ice
2.  In a cocktail shaker,  blue curaçao, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and ice.
3.  Shake well until chilled.
4.  Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. 
5.  Garnish with a lime wheel and enjoy your beautiful and delicious Blue Margarita!

Watermelon Punch 

This Margarita recipe is inspired by the bright and juicy colors in your Miami Tropica Collection.The fresh watermelon flavor is perfect for a hot summer day.


Ingredients 

2 oz  Tequila
1 oz  Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz  Triple Sec 
Ice
Salt for rimming
Watermelon slice for garnish 
*Note: If you want to make a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the tequila and triple sec and replace them with club soda or watermelon flavored seltzer. 

Instructions

1.   In a blender, puree the watermelon chunks until smooth.
2.  Add the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and ice to a cocktail shaker.
3.  Shake well and strain into a salt-rimmed glass filled with ice.
4.  Garnish with a watermelon slice and enjoy!


Pineapple-Coconut Shine

Ingredients 

2 oz  Tequila
1 oz  Fresh Lime Juice 
1/2 oz  Triple Sec 
1/4 Cup  Pineapple Chunks
1/4 Cup Coconut Cream
Ice
Pineapple wedge for garnish 
Tajin & sugar to rim 
*Note: If you want to make a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the tequila and triple sec and replace them with club soda or lemon-lime soda. 

Instructions

1.   In a blender, puree the pineapple chunks until smooth.
2.  Add the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, coconut cream, and ice to a cocktail shaker.
3.  Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.
4.  Garnish  and enjoy!.

Sexy Spiced Margarita 

This Margarita recipe is inspired by the bold and daring sheer detail from the Escape Mesh Collection. The addition of jalapeño adds a spicy kick to the classic Margarita.


Ingredients 

2 oz  Tequila
1 oz  Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz  Triple Sec 
1/4 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
Ice 
Salt and cayenne pepper for rimming the glass 
Lime wedge for garnish 
*Note: If you want to make a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the tequila and triple sec and replace them with club soda or watermelon flavored seltzer. 

Instructions

1.   Muddle the jalapeño in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
2.  Add the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and ice to the shaker.
3. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.
4.  Rim the glass with a mixture of salt and cayenne pepper (if using).
4. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
